It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Cherry (Houston, Mississippi), born in Vardaman, Mississippi, who passed away on July 23, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Snyder Johnson and Eva Simmons Johnson; and her siblings, Carl Johnson, David Johnson, Raleigh Johnson, Ellen Barker, Fern Storment, Lula Mae Walls and Pearl Crowford.
She is survived by: her husband David E Cherry; her children, David L Cherry, Johnny Cherry (Brenda), Max Cherry (Jennifer), Angela Long (Stan), Audrey Hamblin, Janice Webster (Odis) and Vicki Sanders (Travis); and her brother Albert Luther Johnson.
