He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Lee Brassfield and Bertha Mae Clemons Brassfield; his wife Ruby Ann Snowden Brassfield; his siblings, Lucky, John, Ricky, David, Gary Brassfield, Janice Brassfield and Carolyn Gann; and his son Danial Ray Brassfield.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Snowden of Houston; his grandson KeShawn Snowden of Houston; his sisters, Virginia Gregory of Pontotoc, Wanda Atkinson (Scott) of Woodland, Jo Cross of Houlka and Katherin Hughes (Tom) of Woodland; and his close friends, Bruce and Rose Burkeen of Houston.
