With solemn reverence, we commemorate Patricia Ann Pettigrew of Houston, Mississippi, whose life came to an end on February 27, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Otha Dobbs and Zelma Beatrice Crabb Dobbs; her son James M. Pettigrew, Jr.; and her siblings, Christine Dobbs Stewart, Yvonne Dobbs Outlaw, Sue Dobbs Huckaby, Otha Lee Dobbs, James Harold Dobbs and Billy Ray Dobbs.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Pettigrew; her children, Beverly Pettigrew Doss of Houston, Vicki Shepard of Caledonia, MS, David Pettigrew (Heather) of Roseville, CA and Kevin Hamilton of Caledonia, MS; her sister Linda Dobbs Long of Southaven, MS; and her grandchildren, Danielle Newberry (Chris), Kelli Foster (Zach), Leah Stone (Matt), Josh Pettigrew (Ariel), Elisabeth Fletcher (Aidan), Caleb Pettigrew and Elijah Pettigrew.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (201 W Madison St, Houston, MS 38851). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Pat was very active in many of the community programs around Chickasaw County including The Chickasaw Development Foundation and even helped found Leadership Chickasaw.
