Michael Jason Raven Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Jason Raven of Houston, Mississippi, who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James Norfleet Pounders and Barbara Ann Pounders. He is survived by: his son Preston Nathaniel Morrison of Houston; his parent Brenda Pounders of Houston; his sister Kimberly Ann Fallert of St. Louis, MO; his aunts, Marilyn Edmondson (Dennis) of Houston, Crystal Frantz (Mark) of Heber Springs, Ark and Debra McCord (McGoo) of Pontotoc; and his grandmother Mary Ann Pounders. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (230 N Jackson St, Houston, MS 38851). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Southern Funeral Home toward funeral expenses.
