She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Kirkum Brooks and Annie Eglinter Huffman Brooks; her husband James "Sonny" Heair; her children, Melinda Lamb and Mitchell Heair; and her siblings, Mary Lou Adams and Johnnie Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Faulkner (Mike) of Woodland, Myra Campbell (Charles) of Houston, Rosemary Howard (Gerry) of Byhalia, Betsy Monts of Houston and John Heair of Houston; her grandchildren, Brooks Watkins, Ashley Doss (Keith), Valarie Chandler (Chad), Kimberly Springer (Ryan), Justin Faulkner (Kelsey), Josh Pratt, Kayla Beaver (Andrew), Austin Campbell (Haley), Heather Smoothers, Mandy, Brandy Howard, Katie Howard, Kari Gann (Scott), Cody Monts, Timothy Monts (Santana), Madelyn Monts, Blake Heair (Caitlyn) and Heather Howard; and her sisters, Earlene Colburn of Houston, Tinnie Bevels (Gayle) of Houston, Ruth O'Barr of Houston and Louise Bingham (Jackson Adams) of Pheba. She is also survived by her 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pentecostal Church (521 Pittsboro St, Houston, MS 38851). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
