He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Ray Hamblin; and his niece Kristen Knox. He is survived by: his mother Emma Skeen Hamblin of Houston; his son Andrew Hamblin of Una; his siblings, Rhonda Knox (Mario Chavez) of Houlka, Lisa Price (Bruce) of Houston, Tracey Dotson (Damon) of Houston and Butch Skeen (Cheryl) of Montgomery, TX; his uncle Charlie Hamblin of Houston; and his aunt Janice McNight (Danny) of Pontotoc. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations toward funeral expenses.
