She was predeceased by: her parents, Cliff Garrett and Susie Goodwin Garrett; her husband Leslie Paul Alford; her sister Christine Doss; her children, Cindy Walls and Sherman Alford; and her stepsons, Pete Alford and David Alford.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, David Walls of Houston and Sheri Alford of Houston; and her granddaughters, MaKayla Walls of Houston and Shana Smith (Mykkie) of Houston.
