She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Cruse and Jeanette Winter Cruse. She is survived by: her close friend Mike "Lane" Hughes of Houston; her siblings, Michael Wayne Cruse (Tina) of Houston, Timothy Cruse of Amory, Carol Farr of Houston and Charlotte Cruse of Houston; and her close friend Toto. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who were like her children.
