He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis York and Ruby Wright York; his sister Claudine Murphy; and his half-sister Dewain Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Williams York of Derma; his children, Charles York (Janie) of Slate Springs and Angie Curry (Robert) of Eupora; his stepchildren, Lee Melton (Amanda) of Derma and Dana Helton (Dusty) of Vardaman; and his sister Sylvia Kinder (Bob) of Moundville, AL. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
