He was predeceased by: his parents, Melba Lois Berry Sanderson and Thad Sanderson; and his brother-in-law Faber David Sandidge. He is survived by: his wife Dorajean Bennett Sanderson of Houston; his children, Miriam Garner (Jesse Brand) of Houston and Bennett Thad Sanderson (Jana Fenton) of Hattiesburg; his grandchildren, Sandy, Emma Lee, Brand, Thad Garner of Houston, Laurel, Fenton, Grisham and Houston Sanderson of Hattiesburg; his sister Betty Sanderson Sandidge of Houston; his great grandchild Jesse Gill of Houston; his niece Dr. Amanda Harris of Brandon; and his nephew Todd Bennett of Houston.
