He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lem Cowsert and Lennar Cowsert; his spouse Ethelene Moss Cowsert; his daughter Kay Gillespie; his grandchildren, Paula Fuqua and Brian Hall; and his siblings, Duke, Charles Cowsert, Maurice, Jim Cowsert and Lucille Patterson. He was also cherished by wife, daughter, grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren.
