He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Elmer Linton and Amorette Brown Linton; and his wife Judy Linton. He is survived by: his children, Alice Mize (Brad) of Columbus, MS, Barry Linton (Mary Katherine) of Moody, AL and Patrick Linton (Lisa) of Verona, MS; his grandchildren, Lana Swartz (Andy), Monica Coleman (Kyle), Kyle Linton (Sydney), Conner Linton, Claire Linton, Stephanie Turner (Gerren), Nicole Schmitz (Michael), Joel Linton (Maegan), Luke and Beau Mize; and his siblings, Glenda Hatcher and Gary Linton (Marilyn) of Houlka, MS.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
