She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Roy Hinton and Verlie Elaine Blissard Hinton; her significant other G. C. "Bubba" Turner Jr.; her in-laws, G. C. and Margaret Turner; and her sister-in-law Rebecca Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Kopp (Mike) and Christopher Turner (Carra) of Houlka, MS; her grandchildren, Aislinn Kopp (John Burrow) of Austin, TX, Colton and Hannah Turner of Houlka, MS; her sisters, Betty Daniel (Carl) and Peggy Fitts (Richard); her sister-in-law Cindy Morgan (Charles); and her nieces and nephews, Carl Daniel (Dana), Wendy Huffman (Richard), John Ford, Larisa Ford, Rachael Carter (Chad) and Michelle Guyton (John).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Houlka First Baptist Church (504 Griffin Ave, New Houlka, MS 38850).
