We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2024, at the age of 85, Iris Jannett Patterson of Houlka, Mississippi, born in Marks, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emmett Patterson; her parents, James Bowles and Maude Bowles; her sons, Dean Patterson and Billy Van Patterson; and her brothers, Merrill Bowles and Jerrell Bowles.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Patterson (Phyllis) of Houlka, MS and Sonya (Jeff Stout) of Pontotoc, MS; her granddaughters, Kara Lambert and Jessica Tienda; and her great grandchildren, Allie, Caroline, Riley, Milo, Dhalia, Jami, Barrett and Aubreigh. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home (476 MS-9W, Bruce, MS 38915). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home (476 MS-9W, Bruce, MS 38915).
