She was predeceased by: her husband Lemmie D. Cowsert. She is survived by: her daughter Kay Gillespie (Randy); and her grandchildren, Paula (Shawn) and Brian Hall (Dawn). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; four step grandchildren; one sister; and two brothers.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cooke Memorial Baptist Church (5937 Redland Sarepta Rd, Pontotoc, MS 38863).
