She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie F. Hill Turner and Henry Turner; her siblings, Mary Cooper, Ruby Fitzpatrick, Uris Turner, Lily Florence Thomas, Lucille Turner, Vera Turner, Fred Turner and Milton Star Turner; and her great great grandchildren, Damien Lucas and Major Barr.
She is survived by: her children, Rasheedah Abdullah (Muhammad), Jessie Barr (Johnny), Gloria Patrick, Cathy Hoskins (Tom), Martha Randle, Dorothy Gordon (Nathaniel), Ward Cooper (Erica) and Lee Cooper; her siblings, Lula Hoover and Benny Frank Pulliam; and her close friend Martha K. Moore (Johnny). She is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren, seventy-one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
