He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clifton Gann and Bernice Clark Gann; his wife Louann Gottschalk; and his siblings, Johnny Lee Gann, Maxine Denton and Leila Faye Huffman.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Gann (Angel) of Houlka, Bart Gann (Cecelia) of Houlka, Brian Gann (Kim) of Houlka and Jennifer Higginbotham (David) of Houlka; his sisters, Ellie Ruth Moore (Carlton), Lorene Huffman (Tebow) and Birdie Burdine (William); and his grandchildren, Hannah Eastman (Thompson), Becky Brown (Charles), Wesley Higginbotham (Alexis), John Gann (Jerilyn), Kathryn Higginbotham, Lee Alexander (Sara), Jacob Petty, Jenell Petty, Lewis Petty, Dillon Petty (Holly Beth), Tammy Lindsey (John), Christi Hamblin (Hunter), Jennifer Holloway and Candice McVay (Michael). He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
