She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie Lancaster and Pearl Hardin Lancaster; her husband Rufus Gene Walters; her son Mark Lancaster Walters; and her brother Sammie Harold Lancaster.
She is survived by: her children, Lakita Peek (Michael) of Atoka, TN and Michael Gregg Walters (Ranae) of Drummonds, TN; her stepdaughter Debra Kay Moore (Troy) of Hamilton, AL; her brother Marlon Lancaster (Sarah) of Houston, MS; her grandchildren, Kristen Walters, Kayla Walters, Dustin Peek, Allie Grace Peek, John Moore, Matthew Moore, Amber Ayers and Brittany Hines; and her close friend Robert Eaton. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
