He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsey Scott and Mary Mildred Scott; and his brother Raymond Scott. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Scott of Horn Lake, MS; his children, Jennifer Desjardin of Benton, AR and Bryan Ashcraft of Hickory Withe, TN; his granddaughters, Morgan Desjardin of Benton, AR, Isabella Desjardin of Benton, AR and Olivia Desjardin of Benton, AR; and his siblings, Sandra Jeans of Olive Branch, MS and James Scott of Horn Lake, MS.
