He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sherman Eugene Chambers, Charles B. Brady (June), Robert L. Brady (Jeanette), Jack H. Brady (Margie), L. W. Brady, Jr. (Sally) and Norma Jean Chambers Haygood; his nieces, Karen Brady and Cindy Harrison Whitson; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Brandon Harrison (John).

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brandon Chambers; his children, Rhonda Chambers (Jeff Ballentine) and Rick Chambers (Kelly); his grandchildren, Amber Dell Chambers and Brandon Ross; his brother-in-law Forrest Haygood; and also Carrie Kelly Chambers.

Memorials may be made to Gracewood Baptist Church.
