She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ross and Mary Dora Sample Ross; her brothers, Charles Ross and James Ross; her daughters, Sherry Lee Claye and Maria Ann Claye; her son-in-law Samuel A. McGan III; and her grandson Samuel A. "Buck" McGan IV.
She is survived by: her husband Arvel James Claye of Malvern, AR; her children, Donald J. Claye (Sharon Sladewski Claye) and Linda S. Claye McGan of Horn Lake, MS.; her grandson Ricky A. McGan (Candace Haile McGan); and her great grandchild Maylee Adison McGan of Ward, AR.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that any donations in honor of Mary Marie Claye be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
