She was predeceased by: her parents, Reeder Franklin and Annie Kathleen Dowdy; her brothers, Calvin Bieber and Reeder Dowdy, Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Frances and Lloyd Jones.

She is survived by: her husband Rodger Dale Jones; her children, Tiffany (Terry) of Olive Branch, MS, Rodger Jr. of Memphis, TN and Heather (Johnnathon) of Olive Branch, MS.; her grandchildren, T. J. (Kayla), Jeffrey (Tiffany), Paislee, Jack, Christian, Rodger III, Nicholas and Donovan; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Oliver of Maxie Jane, J. J., Riley, Kaison and Noëlla Grace; and her brother Jim Dowdy of Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

In lieu of flowers, it was her request for donations to be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help children battling catastrophic diseases.
