She was predeceased by: her mother Martha Mullins Oates; her stepfather Marion "Bubba" Oates; and her brother Ronnie Winters. She is survived by: her daughters, April Sistrunk (Brent) of Oxford, Brandy Winters of Paris and Cindi Winters of Grenada; her father L. D. Winters of Clarksdale; her siblings, Phoebe Green (John) of Grenada, Darla Trusty (Don) of Elliott, Tammy Perkins (James) of Water Valley, Vicky Winters of Clarksdale, Earl Winters (Valerie) of Grenada and Jimmy Winters of Grenada; her grandchildren, Eli Eldib, London Bowen, Mary Elise and Kiera; and her close friend Mac McCarley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
