He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Lurene Henson Palmer; his son Jerry Palmer of Horn Lake; his parents, George W. Palmer, Sr. and Margie L Steele Palmer of Drew; and his siblings, Travis Palmer, George Palmer Jr. of Starkville, Wes G. Palmer, Alfred Palmer of Drew, Maxine Edwards of Eupora and Janie Estes of Tchula.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Palmer (Sandra) of Olive Branch, Brenda Lackey of Horn Lake and Rita Aldridge (Wayne) of Byhalia; and his siblings, Wayne Palmer (Peggy), Joyce Whitaker of Brandon and Carolyn Bednar of Drew. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
