She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Drewery and Gladys Drewery; her husband Charlie Richard Monroe; her son Richard Lee Monroe; and her brothers, David Drewery, Mike Drewery, Chester Drewery and Paul Drewery.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Whittamore (Doug) of Tulsa, OK, Shannon Chase (Sergio Cruz) of Tulsa, Crystal Hudson (Brandon) of Memphis and Curtis Monroe of Memphis; her grandchildren, Kassi Simmons, Nicholas Simmons, David Simmons, Joshua Simmons, Jacob Monroe, Jeffery Chase, Zackery Chase, Cody Chase, Destiny McKinley and Brandon Hudson, Jr.; and her sister Ann Thompson (Ronnie Keith Barnes) of Olive Branch. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
