She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Johnson and Rosie Lee Johnson; her husband Leroy Hicks; her stepfather Lovell Johnson; her brother Calvin Johnson; her parents-in-law, Christine Hicks and Autry Hicks; and her siblings-in-law, Lee Andrew Hicks and Arlene Wicks.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Hicks and Rosemary Hicks; her stepson Barry Johnson (Sonja); her granddaughter Sherita Hicks; her siblings, Tyree Johnson (Glennie), Leonard Johnson (Joyce), Lovell Johnson, Jr., Danny Johnson and Lovie Warren; and her siblings-in-law, Lillian Brooks, Rubye Bailey, Addie Boga, Lavern H. Zinn (Alfred), Charlene Moore, Margaret H. McDonald (Charles), Katie H. Autry (Billy), Ruthie H. Gatewood (Elester) and Willie Hicks (Mary). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
