She is survived by: her husband Bennie Cothern of Holly Springs, MS; her sons, John Jason Cothern (Marie) of Holly Springs, MS, Jetadire Cothern (Dana) of Ripley, MS and Justin Shane Cothern (Hailey) of Somerville, TN; and her siblings, Charles Skelton of Holly Springs, MS, Wilfred Allen of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Willian Logan Allen of Holly Springs, MS, Johnny Allen of Lamar, MS, Carolyn Thompson and Virginia Byrd. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
