He was predeceased by: his father John Henry Seldon, Sr.; and his sisters, Ruby J. Benton and Armelia Rubbin. He is survived by: his wife Irene Seldon; his children, Sherrell Reed, Monica Euell and Nicholas Euell (Marquita); and his siblings, Arlisha Hood, Ardia Seldon, Flora Gant, Vera Watkins and Isaac Seldon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
