It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Joyner Jr. (Holly Springs, Mississippi), born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Joyner, Sr. and Lena Morse. He is survived by: his children, Billy Joyner of Lamar, MS, Timothy Joyner (Lisa) of Somerville, TN, Violet Haulum (Paul) of Memphis, TN and Shantell Lacey; and his siblings, Jack Joyner, Andrew Joyner, Donald Joyner, Frances Harris, Mary Duke, Barbara Fowler, Patricia Hurdle and Carolyn Edwards. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
