He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Heranney and Elizabeth Parker Heranney; his wife Catherine Heranney of Hollandale; his children, Joseph Heranney, Jr. of Lebanon, VA, Audie B. Heranney of Hollandale and Linda Kay White of Birmingham, AL; and his brother Billy Heranney of New York. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
