He is survived by: his children, Joe Curtis Sims, Jr. (Holli) of Fulshear, TX and Sandra Gail Manor (Jack) of Hollandale; his sister Louise Cobb of Belzoni; and his grandchildren, Brandy Tominello (Dominic), Christin Manor Frew (Parker), Amber Brown Halford (Zack), Melissa Manor Wynne (John David), Joe Curtis Sims III and Emma Sims. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
