He is survived by: his son Brett Bartley; his wife Christy Rooker Boykin of Hollandale; his mother Vivian Boykin Ferguson (Travis) of Greenville; his sons, Brett Boykin (Katie) of Cleveland and John Bartley Boykin of Jackson; his stepsons, Hunter Quinton of Pensacola, FL and Austin Parsons of Hollandale; his sister Tammy Boykin Vaughan (Stacy) of Kingsport, TN; his grandchildren, Chapman Boykin and Hampton Boykin; his niece Elaina Vaughan; and his nephew Noah Vaughan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
