He was predeceased by: his father Loren H. Mixon; his son Matthew Perry; and his sister-in-law June Mixon. He is survived by: his wife Julie Carroll Mixon; his children, Kenny Mixon (Gina) of Virginia, Richard Mixon of Tennessee and Beth Perry Sammons (Carl) of Georgia; his daughter-in-law Vicky Perry Mitchell of Grenada; his siblings, Ann Mixon Collins (Jimmy Ray) of Grenada and Gene Mixon of Holcomb; his grandchildren, Casey M. Mixon, Alexandra K. Perry, Caroline E. Perry, Brooks W. Sammons (Hannah) and Matthew Sammons; and his great grandchildren, Rhett Sammons, Emmett Sammons and Abby Marie Sammons.
