He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Sid and Myrtle Boatner Aven. He is survived by: his wife Fay Aven; his daughters, Christie Tassin (Roger) of Holcomb, Suzanne Angle (Josh) of Grenada and Lisa Williams (Jerry) of Holcomb; his brother John Allen Aven of Tulsa, OK; his grandchildren, Matthew Tassin (Laurie), Megan Clark (Ricky), Mallory Pounds (Drew), Blake Williams (Tori), Tyler Angle (Claire) and Brandon Williams; and his great grandchildren, Aven Clark and Quitman Pounds (Allen Tassin).
Memorials may be directed to the Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund.
