Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Cummins of Holcomb, Mississippi, born in Vaiden, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 82, on December 5, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph, Sr. Cummins of Washington and Lillie Caldwell Cummins; and his siblings, Lila Welch, Eddie Pearl Caldwell, Herman, Joe, Mitchell, Crayton Cummins, Arl and Watt Doster.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Cummins; his pet Rocky; his children, Tammy Hutchinson (Pat) of Grenada, Beth Smith of Glencoe, AR, Jamie Young (Jon) of Walls, Kelli Northrip (Stan) of Bruce and David Cummins of Yazoo City; his stepchildren, Liz Grist (Cody) of Vardaman and Bobby Hurst (Cheryl) of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Colby Little, Fonda Little, Drake Dotson, Riley Dotson, Zack Dotson, Ryan Young, Carmen Smith Scarafiotti, Jessica Smith, Annie Smith, Robbie Cummins, Robyn Booth, Kaytlynn Sutherland, Hayden Ross, Haley Ross and Brittaney Farmer; and his great grandchildren, Parker Smith, James Ashley, Riley Ashley, Finley Laycock, Verah Scarafiotti, Kemper Sutherland and SaraHurst Farmer.
Due to current health concerns, the family requests that all in attendance wear a mask and practice social distancing.
