She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Gilmore and Dell Gilmore; and her sister Alice Maley. She is survived by: her husband Jacob H. Veenstra; her children, Beth Evans (Doug), Jaki Miles (Lester) and Jacob B. Veenstra (Katie); her grandchildren, Hannah Bates, Lily Miles, Olivia Veenstra and Levi Veenstra; her sister Angie Moore (Sam); and her nephews, Kevin Moore, Ben Stubbs, Daniel Stubbs, Jordan Stubbs, Peyton Burgess, Parker Burgess, Jack Maley, Jr., Andrew Maley, Russell Maley, Michael Price and Logan McDowell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gideon's or Hickory United Methodist Church.
