He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Burks; his son-in-law Eric Johnson; his grandsons, Joshua Boyette (Lashaye) and Brody Johnson; and his brother Johnny Burks (Minnie). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
