He was predeceased by: his son Tim Smallwood; his parents, L. Q. Smallwood and Jeanette Smallwood; and his sister Dianne Ussery. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Smallwood; his son Derek Smallwood (Pennie); his grandchildren, Madison Smallwood (Forrest Mallory), Mallori Kate Smallwood, Emmi Simmons, Elizabeth Lyles, Rebecca Thompson (Haaken), Trey Lyles, Shaina White and Kelsey Anderson (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Emma Thompson, Laney Thompson and Oden Kovatch; his brothers, Larry Smallwood and Ricky Smallwood (Lisa); and his pets, Murphy and Bailey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
