He was predeceased by: his wife Jimmie Owens; his parents, Tommy Owens and Dixie Owens; and his siblings, Tommy Owens Jr. and Sue Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Medlin, Ray Foust, Angela Utley, Teresa Laws, Chelsie Morris and Stephanie Ivy. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
