He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Dorris and Richard Dorris; and his brothers, Richard Alden Dorris, II and James "Jimmy" Parkins. He is survived by: his wife Christie Dorris; his children, Jim Dorris (Stacy) of Hernando, MS and Karen Michelle Beyer of Lexington, KY; his stepchildren, Neal Stehling of Knoxville, TN, Debbie Stehling of Wilmington, NC and Dawn Waddle (Dennis) of Hernando, MS; and his goddaughter Christy Parkins-Perez (Dan) of St. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wally's long-time church home of West Side First Baptist Church in Greers Ferry, AR.
