She was predeceased by: her father James Wharton; her son Robert "Keith" Brown; her grandchildren, Blake Pirtle (Jasmine), Tyler Pirtle (Morgan), Allison Pirtle Burks (Phillip), Elyjah "Ely" Laughter, Lillian Darby (Nathan), John Adams, Lesleigh Caroline Orfans and Charleigh-Beth Orfans; her husband Robert Leslie "Bobby" Brown; and her stepfather Lee Tomlinson.
She is survived by: her mother Terry Wharton Tomlinson; her children, Emily Taylor Brown, Lisa Brown Laughter (Charles), Karen Brown Pirtle and Jeffrey Robert Brown (Karen); and her siblings, Stacey "Sam" Wharton, Tracey Wharton, Robert "Bob" Wharton (Mary Jo) and Donna Wharton Bullard (Kenneth). She is also survived by her four children; her eight grandchildren; her eleven great-grandchildren.
