He is survived by: his wife Melba; his daughters, Kim Harris and Teri Harris (Bubba); his stepdaughters, Tracy Avery (Lannie) and Stacy Phillips (Scott); and his siblings, Betty Floyd (Brent), Sheryl Ward (Roger) and Clyde Elam. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
