She was predeceased by: her husband James Barber (Jim); her son Ken Barber; her parents, William Oakley LaCroix and Ida Jane LaCroix; and her siblings, Alton, Robert, Charles, Howard, Fred, Richard LaCroix, Lillian Cargill (LaCroix) and Mary Valasquez (LaCroix).
She is survived by: her children, Terry Barber (Debbi) of Alpharetta, GA, Dennis Barber (Patricia) of Hayesville, NC, Teresa Berry (Doug) of Hernando, MS, Pamela Seymour (John) of Oakland, TN and Sharon Kyser of Hayesville, NC; and her brother Clarence LaCroix of Saltillo, MS. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and many friends, nieces, and nephews.
