He was predeceased by: his wife Vera Esther Brooks; his parents, Bill Brooks and Marion Brooks; and his son Daniel Brooks. He is survived by: his brother Keith Allen Brooks (Ann) of St. Petersburg, FL; his son Hugh Swindoll (Kerri) of Hernando, MS; his granddaughters, Lindsay Grubbs of Blue Springs, MS, Tristin Symonds of Huntsville, AL, Madison Symonds of Hernando and Savannah Swindoll of Hernando; and his nephews, Barrett Brooks (Nicole) of Portland, OR and Brendon Brooks (Ashlyn) of Boston, MA..
