She is survived by: her son Stephen Darnell Gay; her grandchildren, Justin, Nathan and Kara; her son Christopher Allen Gay; her grandchildren, Jason and Rachel; her siblings, Charles and Francis Hudson; and also, Perry Darnell Gay and Edmond Boyce Coleman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
