It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Petty (Hernando, Mississippi), who passed away on December 31, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Millie Petty; his sisters, Teri Selby (Bill) and Rachel Allen (Brian); his nieces and nephews, Erica Capers-Moon (Mark), Eli Selby, Emma, Laycee and John Layne Allen; his great-nephews, Wyatt Capers and James Moon; his uncle Mike Slaughter (Terri); his father Terry Petty (Charlotte); his sister Valerie Kelly (Nick); his nieces and nephews, Alana, Olyn and Audrey Kelly; his grandparents, Roy and Barbara Petty; his brother T. J.; and his grandparents, Willie and Lillie Slaughter.
Because of the current COVID-19 restrictions a private memorial service will be held at a future date.
