We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2024, at the age of 89, Lou Ellen Hackman of Hernando, Mississippi, born in Baldwin, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lou Ellen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lou Ellen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her father William Rusher Duncan; her husband Donald E. Hackman Sr.; and her brother Donald Duncan. She is survived by: her siblings, Kenneth Duncan of Hagerstown and Brenda D. Furches of New Freedom; and her children, Donald E. Hackman Jr., David E. Hackman, Debbie H. Riggs and Sharon L. Hackman. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
