He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Peterson Bennett; and his parents, Raymond Bennett and Ruby Bennett. He is survived by: his children, Karen Moore, Buddy Bennett (Cindy), Amy Bowles (Jim) and Cathy Castleberry (David); his sister Betty Sue Harris "Babe"; his son-in-law Larry Moore; his grandchildren, Caleb Bennett and Melanie Branch; and his brother Harold Bennett.
The Bennett Family suggests memorials be made as donations to The Baptist Children's Village in lieu of flowers.
