It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry O. Johnson of Hernando, Mississippi, born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, who passed away on December 21, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. Johnson and Mary K. Whittington Johnson; and his sister Donna Sharon "Sherry" McGinnis (John). He is survived by: his brother William Johnson (Geneva); his caregiver Sue Whittington Hunt (Ronnie); his cousins, Rommie Depriest, Dawn Anderson, Steve Walls, Bobby Whittington, Gary Johnson, Rose Harris and Vernon Whittington; and his friends, Rose and Charlie Early.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hernando Memorial Park (2846 Magnolia Dr, Hernando, MS 38632).
In lieu of traditional flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
