He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Kook and Betty Jumper; and his brother Russell Kook. He is survived by: his close friend Lisa Denman; his children, Stephanie Raggett (Joey), Shane Denman (Stacy) and Jeremy Denman (Brandy); his grandchildren, Danielle, Casey Raggett, Caleb, Christopher, Tayler Denman and Dakota Denman; and his siblings, Cynthia Kook, Wendowlyn Jenkins, Cheryl DeLee, Sandy Kook and Daryl Jumper.
Due to the Covid19 pandemic, the family will have a graveside service at 11:00 a. m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Memorial Park South Woods. (5485 Hacks Cross Road, Memphis, TN 38125).
